Pizzeria Ristorante Marechiaro is a historic establishment in the center of Verona, a story that began in 1958 and continues today, just steps from the Clock Tower, in the heart of the historic center.
It all began when Luigi and Anna decided to bring the art and secrets of the master pizza makers of Tramonti, on the Amalfi Coast, to Verona, creating one of the first historic pizzerias in Verona. A courageous choice, born of sacrifice, passion, and a love for authentic cuisine.
That tradition has never been interrupted: today, Laura, their daughter, proudly carries it forward, guarding her father's original recipe, handed down as it once was, by heart, without ever being written down.
In our restaurant and pizzeria in the center of Verona, the traditions of Campania and the Veronese region coexist, united by a cuisine that emphasizes fresh ingredients, long-leavened dough, and a constant attention to quality. Along with pizza, Marechiaro also serves Mediterranean and seafood cuisine, with dishes that celebrate simplicity, flavor, and seasonality.
Each offering tells a story of family, expert hands, and conviviality, in a welcoming atmosphere where you can truly experience a restaurant in Verona's historic center.
